Manitoba Residents:
Earn your Mature Student Diploma for FREE!
Post-graduates may earn up to 4 credits for no charge.
Students must be 19 years of age or over at the time of enrolment or reach the age of 19 before completion of the course(s) in which the student is enrolled.
Registration for the 2025-2026 academic year will open on September 3, 2025 at 9AM.
The Regional Alternative Education Centre is a registered
Adult Learning Centre for Manitoba residents 19 years of age or older
as well as an alternative learning centre for
high school students within Border Land School Division. Students of RAEC must be currently residing in Manitoba.
With few exceptions, RAEC courses are
asynchronous
and
self-paced
, which means you will work through the course(s) at your own pace with your teacher's support.
Students are expected to meet and engage with their instructors regularly. Online students are expected to meet with their instructors via video calls on a regular basis.
We offer continuous intake from September to April, which means that you can register at any point during that time period to get started on your course(s).
Please note that we are closed for July and August.
Important dates:
Sept. 2 - RAEC closed
Sept. 3 - RAEC open to students. Registration opens at 9AM
